What is 'A Different Light'?

This site is a way to keep myself motivated. It gives me a reason to keep at my photography. The feedback (good and bad) helps me improve.

While originally planned as a pure photoblog, it's also a great way to put my own opinions out there.  Who doesn't want the chance to do that? I try to stick to topics I know something about, or personal experiences that might be helpful to others. Maybe spare someone a class in the school of hard knocks.

Who writes this stuff?

Arthur Marshall, a part time photographer based in Lunenburg County, Nova Scotia, on Canada's Atlantic Coast. I'm lucky to live in this photogenic part of the world, but occasionally need a reminder to open my eyes to what's around me.  To see things in a different light. :)
